John Biggins (Owner/Sports Agent/Attorney)
John Biggins was born in Dallas, Texas and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 3.9 grade point average from South Grand Prairie High School in 1990. In addition to being a member of the National Honor Society and Fellowship of Christian Athletes, John was a Captain of the football team and was named SGP Offensive MVP & an All-District wide receiver after leading District 11-5A in receptions and receiving yards his senior year. John was also voted a Class Favorite (Most Athletic) by the 525 students in his senior class. John attended Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas on a football scholarship and graduated in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. In addition to his rigorous academic studies, John was a three year letterman on the football team where he excelled at wide receiver and on the special teams units. While at SMU, John was awarded a game ball in 1993 by Head Coach, Tom Rossley, for outstanding special teams play in a 21-15 victory over rival TCU. John also received numerous academic and athletic honors including the SMU Mike Kelsey Award in 1993 for displaying exemplary attitude, hustle, and desire. In 1994, John was named a member of the Southwest Conference Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll and SMU 3.0 Club for having a 3.0 grade point average. As a senior in 1994, John received the SMU Lester Jordan Award for being the SMU football player who is both outstanding on the field and has the highest grade point average. John was also a three year recipient of the SMU Beefmaster Award for being the strongest player on the football team. After college, John attended the prestigious Howard University School of Law in Washington, D.C. which is the alma mater of the late U.S. Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall. At Howard, John concentrated his studies on becoming a sports agent and attorney and his coursework included Contract Law, Sports & Entertainment Law, Labor & Employment Law, and Pre-Trial Litigation Practice (Negotiations). Also, John received the Excellence Award in 1997 for having the highest grade in Legal Research and Writing II. Furthermore, John was a member of the Entertainment Law and Sports Association and regularly attended contract negotiation training seminars co-sponsored by the law school and the NFL Players Association also located in D.C. John received his Juris Doctor degree in May of 1998 and was licensed to practice law by the Texas Supreme Court in 1999. After graduation from Howard, John was employed by the law firm of Ihfe & Associates, P.C. in San Antonio, Texas where his sports law experience included the representation of a pro baseball player at a contested grievance arbitration hearing pursuant to the Major League Baseball Collective Bargaining Agreement. In 2002, John founded the Biggins Law Firm and became certified as an Athlete Agent by the State of Texas and a Contract Advisor by the NFL Players Association. In 2012, John became certified as a Player Agent by the MLB Players Association. John is a member of the Sports and Entertainment Law Section of the Dallas Bar Association and has undergone extensive training pertaining to the arbitration process in professional sports. John has also served as a motivational speaker to the high school varsity football teams at Duncanville, Arlington Bowie, Garland Lakeview Centennial, Dallas Christian, in addition to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at Denton High School and the Tag Team Rivals 5 Star Baseball Camp in Grand Prairie. John is married with two children and has obtained a black belt in karate.
Brian Berry (Scout & Recruiter)
Brian Berry was an All-State and All-District Wide Receiver and Sprinter at Ellison High School in Killeen. After graduating from Ellison in 1990, Brian attended Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas on a football scholarship where he was one of the fastest Wide Receivers in the Southwest Conference with 4.3 speed and a reputation for catching the “deep ball” and scoring touchdowns. His senior year at SMU in 1994, Brian was scouted heavily by several NFL teams, including the Atlanta Falcons and Oakland Raiders, and was projected as a 6th round pick for the 1995 NFL Draft. Unfortunately, Brian sustained a devastating knee and hip injury against Texas Tech in the middle of his senior season. Said injury prematurely ended his NFL career although Brian briefly played in the CFL for the Shreveport Pirates under former Cincinnati Bengal, Cleveland Brown, and Green Bay Packer Head Coach and NFL Hall of Famer, Forrest Gregg. Brian graduated from SMU in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and manages multi-million dollar contracts in the government sector. Brian assists the firm with scouting, recruiting, and client relations. Brian is married with three children.
Olen Parker (Scout & Recruiter)
Olen Parker (Affectionately known by all as "OP") was a standout baseball player at St. Augustine High School in New Orleans and Grambling State University. OP was drafted as a middle infielder by the Philadelphia Phillies and spent three seasons in the minor leagues. After retiring from baseball, OP returned to his beloved alma mater where he obtained his Bachelors and Masters degrees while serving as Grambling's Assistant Baseball Coach and Hitting/Fielding Instructor for six seasons. OP also attended MLB Scout School and briefly worked as an Associate Scout for the Atlanta Braves. OP assists the firm with scouting, recruiting, coaching, and client relations. OP is married with six children.
